after a lot of work testing and tweaking the power grid system (and adding a new menu to switch between power, cooling, fuel and air), I finally added cooling again.
fuel and air are soon to follow.

Could the connection between decks be changed to handle everything (Power, Cooling, Air)?

yes, I am thinking about that.
however, as the connection rooms are making the most trouble at the moment, I will not include them in the next build. I think its more important to move forward with crew managment.

I would love to see the option to move the room power point. if it has to stay in the corner Ok, but at least let us set witch corner it is in. This would make us able to keep the power grid as close to the core of the ship as possible. I do not know haw much extra coding it would take (hopefully not a lot). If it would be to much then this system works Ok.

i agree, polishing off and improvement should be left for later, maybe even beta, right now i think getting crew management up and running is something i personally would rather see come next.

+1 this, i too find it annoying that, by no decision of my own, some room connection points end up on the outter most part of my ship while those on the opposing side are much closer to the core, i don't really know how it could be implimented but doing so would make design much cheaper in termes of reduced power/cooling.air lines cost, money that would probably be better spent on shielding XD
