Just downloaded 0.1.6 and I was typing out my company name "Starships Unlimited" but every time I tried to type "U" it popped up a message about "undo only available in construction mode"

As a workaround, you can remap the U key to a second command or remap the undo command itself to another key. This prevents the message from appearing.

Check this thread:

for an investigation into the buggy Key Mapping dialog. You may need to redefine the key multiple times and you may have to do without the undo command, depending on the game's behaviour when you try to remap the key.
