1. Set a patrol for a crew member.
2. Observe the maintenance countdown timer for a room. Note the remaining time when it is maintained.
3. Observe step 2 again to confirm.
4. Change the game speed (e.g. from realtime to x2 or realtime to 0.2).
5. Observe that the room is maintained at a greatly different point in time, because the crew member is waiting too long or too little.
6. Observe that if the game speed is kept at that specific speed, the wait timers for patrols will correctly function when activated again.

So adjustments to the game speed are not altering wait timers that are currently in progress. It is only altering the starting value/countdown length for future activations of wait timers.
