So, it's been almost four months since the last build, almost two months since the last update, and about a month since the last time Ratakari posted on these forums. Anybody know the cause of the radio silence?

Anecdotal evidence suggests, like last time, that Ratakari is just focusing on working on the game, like last time. the thing is, SSC in currently (I think) pre-alpha, if not already alpha, as such 90% of updates are going to be either new content or getting new content to work period let alone efficiently. Because of this (IMO) Ratakari cant post much because the content alone is still being made, if he were to post an update it would probably be something along the lines of how much code is completed writing on the current item which gets boring to read fast :/ but that's just my guess, he himself has said that he easily gets engrossed on working on SSC and at times neglects to remember to alert us on current events so it could just be that he's forgotten about us T_T

Either way, my advice is just keep SSC on the shelf, glance at it every month or so, that's pretty much the only way not to get bored of waiting for updates because SSC if FAR from any kind of scheduled updates. (probably a year or so but I don't know enough about game deving to even be confident about that guess)

Altough I lost some time moving back to germany, we have been working on a lot of stuff that is really important for multiplayer, but doesn´t produce any cool new features - but I have also been busy with this:

Once we fixed all the database-construction-sites, I will be able to show you some cool new features. keywords: aliens, pulse rifles

I say that but... I literally check the forum every single day I'm at home.... ">.> (guess I can't say I'm not anticipating this game somewhat huh? ^_^")

I also check every day, sometimes more than once LOL.

that's nothing... every time I make a new thread/post I end up checking once evey hour or so ">.> I'm not lonely! I'M NOT! >.<

I'm a daily checker too. I type "st" in my address bar and the browser fills it in for me .
