Starship Corporation

Observe the image below. It shows a power switch that isolates a group of rooms behind it from the rest of the ship. Note that these rooms cannot all be powered when isolated, but that none are core modules. On the other deck are all the core modules, fully powered by the power generators on that floor. However!, when the power switch is opened and closed, sometimes, (about half the time), the Core Module deactivation message is shown. It appears that refreshing the power grid in this situation is briefly powering off rooms on occasion. Possibly due to cross powering rooms? (e.g. Powering a deck 1, core module, with the power generator that is in the corner of deck 2)?
