I notice it has a speed requirement of 63 pcc, which necessitates 4 engine rooms to get that fast, each of which needs 4 permanent crewmembers to maintain it...but the contract also has a max crew limit of 20...

With the 6 pilots and 1 medic you require for any ship, at most you could have 12 technicians on board.

yes it is, you can actually load it from the game files yourself.

there is a ratakari pre built version.

Yeah, I just finished building my own. Need to go out of town for the weekend but will upload when I get back.

It seems like it's going to be very frantic for the Techs on one level, though, with 2 engine rooms and a number of rooms that need maintenance split between the 4 of them. No matter where they are, one of the Engine Rooms is going to be degrading...and that's just in SOP!

It does look like it. I was going down the room off less pilots ad more techs for this design. With a couple for each engine room and a few odd jobbers.

i dont want to post my plans because of the unfinished export feature but the following works:

max crew is 20.
you will need min 6 pilots, 1 medic and 4 tech (if they run like hell) = 11

so you can add 9 crewmembers. this means only 8 tech and one other. (i took the captain, other posibility is 2nd medic for the sicbay)
so you have 12 tech for 4 engine rooms.
i split them into 3 groups:
1. crew: 4 to the engine rooms in the lower deck
2. crew: 4 to the engine rooms in the upper decks conneced by seperate lift
3. crew : 4 to maintain the whole ship.

Oh, I hadn't even considered having 2 dedicated engine room teams and a dedicated maintenance crew that would never enter an engine room...might have to play around with that...especially if I can avoid using any rooms that require 3-techs to maintain...
