Hey guys, just wanted to show my first (though hopefully not my best, because it suuuucks! :P) solution to this contract.
This ship is somewhat hard to manage. The lack of space definetly hinders effective room-placement and I felt I was forced to Place certain rooms at really wierd locations.
Another serious issue is the crew size. The contract forces you to add 4 mil units (even though only 2 are required for the cannon) effectivly preventing you from adding any extra Techs (since you need a med unit to manage lifesupport and watertreatment). With an effective patrol-route one Tech can be patrolling the entire ship while making stops at the Engine-room to bring effeciency back up, but if anything breaks down anywhere, then the shit hits the fan and Everything goes South. This could be remedied with shield-gens, but that requires more Power (and Money)...

Bottom line though is that the contract is met, within budget and with a small profit. Even though it's far from perfect I still wanted to post the plans, if nothing else then just to provide some kind of solution for this contract.

verry nice.
i think if you replace those coolings s with one m then you will save: space, money and energy. the placement next to engine room is perfect to bring in 2 techs for maintainence.

Hehe, if you liked this one, check out my small attack Craft "Munin". Thats my fav ship so far and the design is actually based off of this ship. My first intention was to have two cannons on each wing, but in the end, the budget (and the space taken by the landing gears) prevented that. So i took that design and turned it in to a small attack Craft instead :P
