This kind of surprised me when I was changing around one of my designs. I had to remove a corridor part which was enclosed by 3 hatches. Later on I wanted to place the corridor back into its old valid position but the editor prevented that and indicated that the placement is not valid.

I am not entirely sure if that behaviour is intended like this. But this kind of thing crops up when a new user discovers a design error rather late in the process and is force to rearrange already placed corridors and/or hatches.

This also happens with lifts and connectors (fuel, water, etc).
