So I have 3 generators on a single deck, and an unpowered galley. I have enough energy between the three generators to power the galley, but not enough on any single generator.

I thought it would be pretty awesome if you could point multiple Generators to the same Power Relay and then forward the sum total of excess energy to another room that you would otherwise be unable to power.

Thoughts?

i'm getting some idea over here ...

wishing for a global distributor ? well, can link multiple generators to engine, engine will distribute to all on same or both if wanted. downside is an attack to the engine room easily increases damage and poof, all blackout to those linked from the engine.


and thinking over the rouge AI senario ...
by using the generator as a link :
comp AI + bridge (both linked to same generator) = increase speed by 20% ; rouge time decrease speed by 50% (pilot to revive AI, provided access into the comp room and bridge at the same time together)
comp AI + life support = no maintenance to water, air. able to handle another 5 more crew on board :) ; rouge time, crew health overall decreases 25% instantly. (pilot to revive AI, provided access into the comp room and life support at the same time together)
comp AI + engine room = reduce 50% of maintenance crew ; rough time causes fire + efficiency down to 50%. a full mechanic crew turns things back to normal. (pilot to revive AI, provided access into the comp room and engine room at the same time together)

can't wait to see comp AI goes rouge... what will happen then ...?? thinking bout having the relay close to the bridge, at the first instant able to take control of the hatches back, need only some time to crack open one hatch to enter ....

let the AI rouge be more troublesome than xenomorph ...xenomorph only reduces crew right ? food and reproduction are the only stuff on its mind. make them to like pets and treat them like their own, no killing and mutually attracted, pets will auto seek xeno members ... :D
but crew is food and for cloning. so got to keep an eye where your cat/dog is and which crew they are stuck with ...

with an all xeno crew, comp AI can turn off life support, and all biological stuff dies down; except those in escape pods ? the pod will have two command, stay shut or eject off (like the power on/off button). so we need to sacrifice one dude/pet in the escape pod to lure the xeno there and presto flies off to space .....

comp AI will always autopilot to the last destination indicated :D and the receiver will cease to exist the next turn.
