Would like to see brig. Where prisoners can be taken.

That also could be a scenario of why the ship is under attack. Friends come to rescue their buddy before the ship arrives at the prison planet.

Indeed. Which should leave the ability to trade prisoner exchange.

Using the Traveller RPG system here are some different rooms. The Fresher (bathroom) is considered part of the quarters on ships.

Unless you are going to do barrak style

Well, I oriented myself on the small schematics you can see on the rooms. There are only beds inside. On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't take those too serious. According to them half my door are unpassable because some heavy machine is blocking it

Room suggestion: Communications Array

Role: Transmits communication alerting the captain of ships immediate conditions. Also acts as direct link to all units and forces to produce time effecient response.
Also communicates imediate fleet formation to other ships.

Perhapse not having this tech causes the ship and units a delay in commands.

Room suggestion: rapid transport system (railway)

For big ship personnel need quicker way to move than corridors.

It can be placed in utility layer and have entry points similar to lifts in normal layer, wide is same as corridors.

Rail have hight cost and power usage and maybe need minimum distance between entry points.

Similar system can be used to transfer missiles and ammo from magazines.

indeed, i too like that idea, i have no clue just how big ratakari plans to go in terms of ship size but if assuming he plans to do space ships like battle ships or even the titan sized dreadnaught then an idea like railways will quickly become popular, even cruiser sized ships could have use for them in a minimalist capacity.
